Neutrals are in: Happy LELAF!

I'm back guys! I'm so terrible at this blogging thing, especially when so many things happen at once like four o'clocks on top of four o'clocks on top of four o'clocks on top of papers on top of other unforeseen circumstances... but I'm back and it is the perfect time to be back.

Why?

You know how I said before that Mocos season was the most wonderful time of the year? I take that back. LEHIGH LAFAYETTE (also referred as lehigh laf or "lelaf") week is the most wonderful time of the year. In case you live under a rock, (or just don't go to Lehigh), this rivalry week is the one week in the year Lehigh students look forward to the most. It's basically what we live for. After an entire week of celebrations (#day2? or #day3? I've already lost count), Lehigh students somehow find the strength to rise bright and early on Saturday morning to beat Lafayette! Sounds like Mocos right? Well it is, except it's better and we actually don't wear wacky clothes. We wear our school colors: Brown and white!..... Lol

I know, it's not the best of colors but don't fret Lehigh females. Neutrals are in anyways and the Bookstore tries it's best to provide us with some cute apparel for our big day! So here are my top picks for Lelaf on Saturday as well as some advice for the best holiday.

1) The Lehigh Jansport 1/4 Zip Pullover; $49.98.  This is the most bought and worn apparel for Lelaf (I have the white one). Most girls wear this on Lelaf and pair it with a vest of the opposite color.

2) The Lehigh Womens University Crew; $54.98 I think this piece is new at the Bookstore and I love it. Again, you can definitely pair this with a brown vest and brown boots to look cute on the big day!

3) The Red Shirt Womens Shawl Collar Pullover; $49.98 Another addition to the Bookstore. This is so cute and flattering especially with boots and vest!

4) The Lehigh Legacy Adjustable Hat; $21.98. I've seen alot of girls wear this backwards during Lelaf. Its a cute look and one I'm willing to try this year! The Bookstore also have one in white, in case you wanted the white one!

There are obviously tons of other apparel at the Bookstore but 1) some are missing from the site and 2) these are just my top picks for this year. Sweaters are just kind of my thing (remember sweater weather) and it's going to be cold. Very cold but you still want to have Lehigh pride and show off the Lehigh name. When wearing these sweaters, make sure you have something underneath to keep warm throughout the day. Wearing a brown or white vest will aid in keeping you warm as well, while I know others prefer jackets. All these sweaters can be worn with jeans or black tights, paired with brown/black boots or converses for the ultimate warmth and comfort. Hats and scarves are a must. Don't forget to get Lehigh stickers and wear them too! This can be found at the Bookstore!

Most important of all, be safe! I know it's literally the best time of the year and it can get a bit cray, but make sure to be safe and responsible. Let's try to survive one more year Class of 2014! Go Lehigh!!!

About

I'm Lucy and let's just put it out there that I am not at all a fashionista or style guru. I'm just a senior majoring in marketing at Lehigh University. I created this blog for my Digital Marketing and Social Media class. However, that's not to say I don't find the world of fashion fascinating. I do have an eye for what's in and what's out and I thoroughly enjoy witnessing all the trends that rock the fashion industry. That is why this blog is my baby project. I want to show you why fashion and style isn't just the clothes you put on your body.
